@Discovery .@MitchHorowitz @chrissynewton You guys got the LIDAR satellite explanation very wrong. LIDAR sats operate from low orbit, and have an orbit time similar to the ISS. In 35 minutes that beam was on film, a LIDAR satellite would have traveled a third of the way around the planet.

@Andercot I once joked about making a PCB autorouter that had a video game back end where players think they are playing a game but are actually solving the autorouter. Like some sort of maze game where players are really finding paths for PCB traces.
