I don't understand why this is shocking. We have been warning you and everyone else about the dangers of traveling to Afghanistan, emphasizing its lack of safety. Instead, every blogger seemed to rush to Afghanistan under Taliban rule, not only to whitewash the Taliban's image but also to encourage visits to Afghanistan by portraying it as a safe place, all for content. Of course, it's evident they were compensated by the Taliban. Let's be clear: under Taliban rule, no one is safe. No one.
