📢 New Pay Rates for Early Years & School-Age Childcare Professionals!

From 13 October 2025, a new Employment Regulation Order will increase hourly wages by an average of 10% for 35,000 staff across the sector 👶📚

💶 New minimum rates range from €15.00 to €20.25 per hour
💼 €45 million in ring-fenced Core Funding will be provided to support early learning and care services
📈 Total Core Funding now exceeds €390 million in the 2025/26 programme year

The Government will continue to deliver on the Programme for Government commitment to implement Employment Regulation Orders to attract and retain early years educators.
