Ukraine was seeking an IMF loan with a contribution from the EU, Azarov turned it down as the conditions were too onerous and, at the time, Ukraines largest trading partner by far was Russia. Russia offered better terms.

Why shouldn’t Russian have been an official language as a significant minority spoke it? Works in Canada. Have enough Ukrainians died in this war?

@ShahenaBegumAl1 @basilthegreat Biblical and Islamic values are nothing alike. Islam is more akin to paganism. Islam regards Jesus as just a messenger and totally ignores his teachings, Christianity views Jesus as the Son of God.

@Gun4Hyre14 @MyLordBebo So Russia is not a paper tiger. If it were, I have no doubt NATO would have imposed a no fly zone. As NATO relies on air supremacy, it’s a testament to the effectiveness of Russian air defence systems, to which Ukraine has used effectively.
