@poppy_haze@poisonjr There’s one of these at Texas A&M and they have a protected pedestrian walk/bikeway walled off from the car lanes in the middle of the diamond which makes it really safe. Bc of one ways no risk of a turning car when crossing into or out of the diamond
@Faliz_again @jabiscuits@nocontextcfb you fail to understand the point of the tradition. it would take place even if clemson lost to a cupcake team. you also seem to fail to understand sports are supposed to be fun
@jabiscuits@nocontextcfb what’s embarrasing is your lack of ability to tell the difference between a decades old tradition and “rushing the field” and getting mad about it every time
@jabiscuits@nocontextcfb what do you mean “the clemson one” clemson meets at the paw after every home game win or lose. haven’t lost at home since 2016 but did it then too
@justtalkinsttp@leesuperstar375 @Longhorns_B12C @dannykanell First WF/Clemson game in the 89 year history of the series where both teams are ranked, the game is neck and neck, and they cut in during 2 of the most crucial plays of the game. If I cared about the AL record I’d be watching that
@Marcel_Swart@KffDogs@SuspiciousPig So like weight, temperature, physical exam findings, tests ran and their results, all go in objective, while things like what they’ve been fed at home, what supplements they’re getting, behavior at home, etc go in subjective
@Marcel_Swart@KffDogs@SuspiciousPig In vet school what I was taught is that subjective is basically the history as supplied by the owner, so that includes presenting complaint and anything the owner tells you, while everything that was directly observed or measured by the vet goes in the objective section
@Chinchillazllla@codydowell There’s a fantastic book about this that I had to read for my comparative genetics class in undergrad that I think you’d enjoy! It’s called Tears of the Cheetah by Stephen J O’Brien. He talks about his work on this and other similar incidents in other animals as a geneticist
