@MartinezYsais @davidfrum Closing happened only after a court forced Musk to pay up. He had very quickly realized he was vastly overpaying and tried to back out. Which is exactly why the board was always going to approve the sale. I never saw anyone serious saying they wouldn't.

@ElectionBabe In the open source world there's an old joke that real programmers don't make backups, they just put stuff up on FTP and let the internet mirror it. The ppl who want the data can do what they need to make it usable once they have it. Just post it. csv, xls, they can make it work.

@CRB1079 @gregvpugh @steve_vladeck My take, fwiw, basically said that's what they would, in fact, liked to have done here but the legal claim, a First Amendment overbreadth allegation, is such a big boy serious one that if the court thinks it's likely to be true then it's rational to issue a blanket injct.

Hey @trimet the 242nd and Stark stop for line 20 has had its next bus display broken for over a week. Shows the 5:50 bus from the 24th. I've reported it to drivers every morning for a week but nobody seems to have passed it along. Please, we want to know when the bus is coming!

@coinwirehq @Khaya55411582 Their attempt to force oil and gas payments in roubles was a similar effort that had marginal short term gains but then the slide continued, down to 100 roubles to a dollar last week, so I guess they're going to try again.
