My Coldcard MK4 wasn't hacked, but the recent reports were enough to make me take zero chances.

I dropped everything, cut my Baltimore trip short, skipped plans with family I hadn't seen in four years, including the DC Citi Open, and drove more than 7.5 hours and nearly 400 miles back home the very next day.

My back was killing me, and I barely slept from the stress, but I needed to verify everything myself.

Thankfully, all of my Bitcoin, both KYC and non KYC, was safe.

I've now moved everything to freshly reset Trezor and Ledger wallets. Next step is building a proper multisig setup.

To everyone affected by the recent incidents, I'm truly sorry. Losing Bitcoin is devastating, and I hope the community learns from this and comes back even stronger.
