@sedderaside In the UK in the late 80's early 90s we had Lily Savage a drag queen who hosted game shows and Dame Edna who did interviews and comedy....it was shown on daytime and nighttime prime TV bare in mind we only had 5 channels to watch but was very normal and never questioned 🤷‍♀️
