@BoziTatarevic As a lightning expert - there are better methods to stay safe from lightning than the automatic 30 minute timer. I think NASCAR employed one of these techniques in a recent race. Technology for the win.

@BoziTatarevic @RoadandTrack Great article. @DaleJr wants to give the pit crew more to do. Let the teams make adjustments to the brakes during practice. Force the teams to make hard decisions during the race. That’s what racing is supposed to be.

@JomboyMedia Maybe the Cardinals catcher can block the freaking ball. Eddings was hit in the shoulder and the leg with back to back bounced sliders. Only then did Eddings mention the hat to the catcher. It’s the major leagues - catch the ball and protect the umpire.

Was Eddings getting hit by the prior 2 pitches just before the hat discussion? Is there any unofficial etiquette for the catcher - who called the pitch and then missed the pitch - to apologize? With the prior Cardinal challenge on 3rd base, and then taking 2 hard back-to-back sliders off the body would make any MLB umpire slightly upset. Then getting berated during pitching warmups by the Cardinals manager turned that moment into heated - and prolonged - argument that led to the manager getting ejected.

@BoziTatarevic @23XIfan88 Digital can be monitored with the proper receiver. Something needs to be done to make the audio connections better. Wonder if some of the confusion in the pits is due to bad connections between spotter, driver, and crew.
