And promiscuous deubiquitinases (DUBs) can exhibit linkage-dependent activities in the presence of UBQLN2-polyUb condensates (e.g., K63-Ub4 is protected from DUB activity - black curves below)
Super happy to see the final version of our paper on the role of NAP1/SINTBAD in PINK1/Parkin mitophagy!

Super excited to have you as one of our Biology colleagues @SUArtSciences ! Go #IDPs! Looking forward to all the cool ideas that come out of your lab integrating IDP biophysics and plant biology! Welcome aboard!
Super excited to have you as one of our colleagues @SUChemistry@SUArtSciences ! Welcome aboard! I second everything you've written in your thread. We will do our best to help drive your awesome science and collaborations! #IDPs
I'm excited to announce that our lab is moving to @SyracuseU!! We will continue our exploration of how (disordered) proteins sense and respond to changes in their environment, and 📢HIRING AT ALL LEVELS. Get in touch if you're interested! Some details on this move below: 1/5
@BanerjeeLab_UB You are an amazing host @BanerjeeLab_UB !!! Fantastic visit. You are doing amazing science and I feel very lucky to start a collaboration with you and your lab! To 2024 and beyond!!
My lab jokes that IAA does not stand for 'indole-3-acetic acid', but rather for 'involved in almost anything'. Here is a recent review from us on connections between auxin and abiotic stress.

#cellbio2023 ASCB attendees - interested in #UBQLN2#condensates and their roles in cell stress response? Visit Anitha's poster on Sun 12/3 (P1589) to hear about heat stress in cells, while Billy presents on UBQLN2 puncta formation with the @oniHQ nanoimager (P1594)!
Recruiting #PhD Bio students to @SUBiology ! If you're at @ABRCMS , come talk to current grad Savannah from @sarah_hall02 lab, and undergrad Alana from @YazBraimah lab! @drhougs has all the info - learn about @SUBioInspired , Neuroscience & our growing dept! (apply by 1/4/24)
Interested in understanding how and why IDRs matter for cellular function?
@BBKrage and I took a deep dive into this question and – with excellent feedback and critiques from colleagues & our amazing editor – put together our perspective on this: https://t.co/kmaC3Zhp3R
NMR of glutamine-rich prion-like domains in a condensed phase - new stuff from Sandy Wang and @TongyinZ . Structure and position-specific interactions of prion-like domains in transcription factor Efg1 phase separation https://t.co/Ewp4WLEmpX
@SUBiology will be at @ABRCMS next week to represent our #PhD program! Amazing lineup attending: @drhougs himself, grad student Savannah from @sarah_hall02 lab, and undergrad Alana from @YazBraimah lab will be there! More soon!
