In the book ‘Behold A Pale Horse’ (1991), written by William Cooper (former U.S Naval Officer), he says the U.S. government will use advanced technology to simulate a false Second Coming or other religious events.

He cites a supposed source as saying: “The project is designed to use technology to simulate an alien invasion or a religious event that will be so convincing it will lead to the establishment of a New World Order.” He also said “The U.S. government has been in contact with alien beings since at least the 1940s, and they have been working together on various projects. Reverse-engineered alien technology is being used to develop advanced weapons and surveillance systems that are kept secret from the public.”
