You cannot deny increase in service closures. This graph says it all @SaturdayRTE @thisweekrte this needs to be addressed urgently. Services that closed last year are still on the TUSlA register. We need to ask why ?

More and more small SMEs closing down. Someone must be made accountable for this providers Borrowing money to pay staff wages over Christmas. Providers not taking a wage. One service is having a closing down sale today in Dublin. @LeoVaradkar meet with the FECP @Toibin1

Many parents want the small homely type preschools for just the free 3 hours and avail of any extra hours. There are less of those on my area now and parents are not happy

@greenparty_ie @rodericogorman What about ECCE only services that currently have zero cost to parents? They will be non existent in a few years if you don’t start to properly fund them. A lot of parents are not going to be happy with the disappearance of their free preschools

@MISSSIX @MurphyDunne @rodericogorman Same in our service anxious families anxious staff. We will not be continuing as we are 2023, we held out for CF only to be completely let down. We cannot hold out any longer. Providers cannot subsidise the ecce scheme indefinitely. We have our own families to care for
