Alderney has a new team of #volunteer Emergency Responders, trained to support the #ambulance service in the island - equipped with AED & other first aid equipment, they respond to life-threatening calls in their vicinity, in a similar way to #CFRs in Guernsey.

Great to be on @BBCBreakfast this morning showing our story and charity launch. Thanks to St John Ambulance Jess' for giving the nation a refresher in choking protocol, that was fantastic.
It's important to know, that LifeVac is regulated by the MHRA and is for use when first aid has failed, at the point of calling an ambulance grab your LifeVac!
To purchase one for home, visit https://t.co/ttAbJxdZwZ and use discount code 'OF10' which will give you 10% discount and @LifeVacEurope will donated 15% of each sale back to our charity to enable us to fund more free devices for registered childcare settings.

Been with our senior leadership team this morning covering a range of topics. It was good to wrap the session up with a check in on how everyone is doing. #TeamWAST#Wellbeing
