Time for another Truth Matters Musical moment. This one needs no words from me.
The creativity that emerges from tyranny remains an inspiration, while being absolutely spot on when it comes to truth telling.

In 1982, Robin Williams did a routine as the American Flag for the Norman Lear produced tv special "I Love Liberty" created to bridge political divides - and it's one of the greatest pieces you'll see 🇺🇸
NYC mayor Zohran Mamdani is now the biggest headache for Trump 🔥
🇺🇸 Trump: "We officially cut funds for research and health subsidies. It’s not that important."
🇺🇸 Zohran: "You think city-run grocery stores and Medicare are impossible, but you spent $500 million a day to kill people in Iran and Lebanon was necessary?" 🔥
He just blew up Trump’s talking points in 2 seconds👏
New York City Mayor Mamdani just gave one of the most amazing speeches you will ever hear:
"We are told that America is exceptional because we are richer, stronger, and more powerful than everyone else.
"The truth, my friends, is that America is exceptional because here, nothing is fixed into place. The frontier may be closed. We may have walked on the moon. But the work of fulfilling the values first enshrined in the Declaration of Independence — that work endures, and it belongs to us all.
"It belongs, too, to our newest Americans: those standing here with me today, all of whom were recently naturalized. Nearly a decade ago, I, too, felt what you feel: the joy of no longer being just a New Yorker, but an American, too.
"You each hold a special power: the power to determine what America means.
"The powerful have always known their answer. America, in their view, is an arena of supremacy where only a select few are allowed freedom; where not all are created equal. America, if you ask them, becomes less the more people it welcomes. America, they will tell you, belongs only to those with the right accent or the right shade of skin. The rest of us, they insist, should be grateful for merely being allowed to visit.
"How small they are. How weak. How unoriginal.
"At every moment in our past, those who led through exclusion and isolation have tried to win power and enrich themselves by turning us against one another. Division is the oldest trick in politics — and the cheapest.
"But time and again, including 250 years ago, those forces of division have been vanquished by the forces of progress."

BREAKING: DOJ SEEKS TWO-MONTH DELAY IN KATIE PHANG’S EPSTEIN FILES CASE
With just hours remaining before a court-ordered deadline to produce additional records in the lawsuit brought by MeidasTouch host Katie Phang, the Trump Justice Department is asking a federal judge for a 60-day delay.
In a new court filing, DOJ (falsely) argues that releasing more Epstein-related records could risk exposing the identities of victims, law enforcement personnel, and other protected information. The department says it needs more time to determine whether to appeal and is requesting a stay while the Solicitor General considers its next steps.
It’s worth noting the administration has ALREADY released sensitive victim information.

🚨HOLY SHIT: Former Trump White House lawyer Ty Cobb calls Trump earning over $1 billion from crypto ventures “the greatest onslaught of corruption in the history of mankind.”
It turns out the great egg price increase that helped topple Joe Biden's presidency was <checks notes> due to an alleged conspiracy among egg producers to artificially increase prices and the coverage of that fact is a blink-and-you-miss-it story on the NYT website 🙃
A GOP politician – pick your favorite – died and ended up standing in front of the pearly gates.
Saint Peter looked at him, flicked through his book and found his name.
"So, you were a GOP politician,” said Saint Peter.
“Well, yes, is that a problem?" The man asked.
“Oh no, no problem, answered Saint Peter. “But we've recently adopted a new system for people in your line of work and unfortunately you will have to spend a day in Hell.”
After that however, you're free to choose where you want to spend eternity,” Saint Peter replied.
"Wait, I have to spend a day in Hell??" Demanded the politician.
"Them's the rules,” answered Saint Peter, clicked his fingers, and WOOMPH, the guy disappeared.
He awoke curled up with his hands over his eyes, knowing he was in Hell. He listened for screams, sniffed the air for brimstone…Just the smell of…is that fabric softener? And cut grass.
"Open your eyes!" said a voice. "C'mon, wakey wakey, we've only got 24 hours!" Nervously, the politician uncovered his eyes, looked around and saw he was in a hotel room. A nice one too – a penthouse suite with a smiling man in a suit, holding a martini.
"Who are you?” politician demanded.
Well, I'm Satan!" said the man, handing him the drink and helping him to his feet. "Welcome to Hell!" "
“Wait, this is Hell? But... Where's all the pain and suffering?" the guy asked.
Satan threw him a wink.
“Oh, we've been a bit mis-represented over the years, it's a long story. Anyway, this is your room. The minibar is of course free, as is the room service, there are extra towels next to the hot tub and if you need anything, just call reception. But enough of this!
“It's a beautiful day, and if you'd care to look outside..." Slightly stunned by the opulent surroundings, the man wandered over to the floor-to-ceiling windows, looked down and saw a group of people cheering and waving at him from a golf course.
"It's one of 5 pro-level courses on site, and there are another 6 just a few minutes’ drive out past the beach and harbor,” said Satan, answering his unasked question.
They headed down in the lift and walked out into the lobby, where everyone waved and welcomed the man as Satan signed autographs and talked shop with the staff.
A the man walked out, he saw the group on the golf course was made up of of his old friends, people he'd admired for years but never met or worked with, and people whose work he admired but who died long before his career started.
Out of the middle of the group group came his wife, with a smile and the body she had when she was 25. She threw her arms around him and planted a delicate kiss on his cheek. Everyone cheered and his worst political enemy showed up as a 2 foot tall goblin-esque caddy
He spent the day on the golf course, having the time of his life, laughing at jokes and carrying on important discussions, while holding his wife next to him.
Later they returned to the hotel for dinner and had an enormous meal, perfectly cooked, which descended into a food-fight when someone threw a bread roll at the next table (where Ghandi was having a game of truth-or-dare with Marilyn Monroe).
Not long after he and his wife returned to their suite and spend the rest of the night making love like they did on their honeymoon. After 3 hours of intense passion he fell asleep, wrapped in the 100% Egyptian cotton sheets.
He was awakened by Saint Peter.
"So, that was Hell. Wasn't what you were expecting, I bet?"
“No sir!" said the man.
L
“So then," said Saint Peter, “make your choice. It's Hell, which you saw, or Heaven, which has choral singing, talking to God, white robes, and so on.”
“Well...I know this sounds strange, but on balance, I think I'd prefer Hell,” said the politician.
"Not a problem, we totally understand! Enjoy!" said Saint Peter, and clicked his fingers again.
🇺🇲 Jack Smith: "Our investigation developed PROOF beyond a reasonable doubt that President Trump engaged in a criminal scheme to overturn the results of the 2020 election & to prevent the lawful transfer of power.
Our investigation also developed powerful evidence that..."
BREAKING: Jack Smith breaks his silence with his first interview since resigning — and says that "we are facing an attack on the rule of law" under Trump.
And he was just getting started...
"Well, you know, I was a career prosecutor," the former Special Counsel told MS NOW's Nicolle Wallace. "I worked in the Justice Department and other prosecutors offices for near on 30 years. And I don't know if your viewers know this but I worked in Republican and Democratic administrations over and over."
"I was the acting U.S. Attorney in the first Trump administration in Nashville, Tennessee," he explained. "And that administration appointed me to a position running a war crimes tribunal for the State Department. So I have investigated cases focusing on the facts and the law throughout my career. We did this case the same way under the same standards."
Smith has every right to defend himself on this front. His investigations into Trump's rampant criminality were conducted fairly, impartially, and professionally. For his troubles, he found himself relentlessly attacked by our crooked President until he became Public Enemy #1 for a large, deranged swath of the country. This interview represents a small step towards reclaiming his legacy from the smears.
Smith ultimately brought charges against Trump for interfering in the 2020 election and for smuggling classified documents down to Mar-a-Lago, but they were dismissed to the outrage of many after Trump won the election.
"And you know the thing that I think important for your viewers to know is those standards are not meant to change from one administration to the next," Smith continued. "And in my experience until now they haven't. And so, you know, I think we are facing an attack on the rule of law that is different in kind and scope to anything I've seen in my lifetime."
"And one of the reasons I wanted to be with you here today in advance of the 4th of July celebrating the birth of a country that we all love is to celebrate the public servants who do this work, the people I spent my career working shoulder-to-shoulder with," said Smith.
"I loved being a prosecutor and part of it was I loved being around these sort of people," he went on. "And it angers me to see them victimized, to see them demonized for doing their jobs. I think it's really important that we stand up for them and let them know that there are a lot of people out there who back them and who are with them.
"And that's not just the people who've been targeted and fired for no reason for doing their jobs," said Smith. "It's also the people still in the Justice Department today. There are a lot of good career prosecutors who right now are working under incredibly difficult circumstances and they're still trying to do the right thing. And these are not self-promoters, these are not people who are going to go out and you know crow about their achievements. We need to hold them up and celebrate them because they're part of what makes this country great."
It cannot be stressed enough just how much damage Trump has inflicted on our justice system. He's proven that some people are simply above the law in this country, that Presidents can commit crimes with impunity so long as their party controls Congress. He weaponized the entire Justice Department to target his political enemies to such an extent that its credibility may never recover.
Now, more than ever, we need people like Jack Smith to stand up and speak the truth, consequences and retribution be damned.
Please ❤️ and share if you're grateful to Jack Smith for his service!
Trump literally just admitted that everything his children do they have inside information on.
But republicans were mad because Hunter Biden was on the board of a foreign gas company.
REP HUFFMAN: “The CEO of Trump’s Freedom 250 flew to Davos, stood in front of a room full of foreign governments and asked them ‘how they wanted to shape America’s birthday’. Then they stole hundreds of millions and committed wire fraud.”
Holy shit.
Imagine telling your boss:
"We couldn't get our work done because we were fighting with each other... so we decided to start vacation early."
That's exactly what House Republicans just did.
#BREAKING: Psaki: “Do you remember last year when Trump announced his massive across the board tariffs…He called it liberation day, it actually led to a stock market crash. That liberation day announcement was made on April 2nd of last year, and Trump’s financial disclosures show that he made 327 stock purchases six days later, on April 8th, while the market was down…So he makes those purchases on April 8th. The next morning, just after the market opened, he told his followers on Truth social: ‘THIS IS A GREAT TIME TO BUY.’ Hours later, he paused his tariffs and the stock market had a historic rally, so historic in fact, it represented the biggest single day gain in the history of the Bloomberg billionaires index. To put it simply, it appears an official act by Trump cratered the stock market. Trump then bought the dip and then used another official act to bring the price of the market back up. Trump of course insists that all his stock transactions are handled by his two adult sons [@EricTrump & @DonaldJTrumpJr] without his involvement or knowledge of the individual trades carried out on his behalf. When asked about the timing of these specific trades, the White House told us tonight that President Trump only acts in the best interests of the American public, saying there was no conflict of interest. The White House also directed us to the Trump Organization. We’ve reached out to them, but we haven’t heard [anything] back.”🤦♀️
So let me get this straight. Natalie Harp, Trump’s companion majored in psychiatric sciences and she has now been assigned to stay at Trumps’s side at the request of Stephen Miller to control the potus and entertain him by soothing his ego & keep him out of the Oval Office so the administration staff can run the country while Trump’s dementia progresses; is that accurate? And it’s reported that Miller is coordinating Trump and is apparently only being spotlighted in executive orders otherwise he is mentally unfit and embarrassing Stephen Miller consistently. Holy cow; what a mess. Miller is apparently making all decisions for Trump during his ongoing incapacitation. He has been losing his cognitive abilities progressively for nearly a year so Miller had to step in. Natalie Harp is the acting “handler” keeping Trump’s ego pumped up while controlling his engagement in presidential matters? Miller is said to have directed her to keep him happy; what exactly does that mean? Meanwhile Melania is in hiding. Why is the WH covering up Trump’s decline & mental illness?
BREAKING: Protesters DROWNED OUT Hegseth, Miller, and Blanche so completely that they couldn't finish their speeches at Washington DC ceremony.
They came to Washington DC’s Malcolm X Park to give themselves a pat on the back. They left humiliated.
Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and White House advisor Stephen Miller descended on the historic D.C. landmark Wednesday for a self-congratulatory ceremony honoring National Guard troops Trump deployed to the capital and has refused to withdraw. What they got instead was a wall of noise — sirens, horns, whistles, chants, and a DJ setup — courtesy of Washington residents who have had enough.
Stephen Miller, architect of some of the cruelest immigration policies in American history, tried to deliver a speech dividing humanity into "builders and destroyers." The irony of Miller — a man who has spent his career destroying families, communities, and constitutional norms — casting himself as a defender of civilization was apparently lost on him. The protesters' sirens were not.
Hegseth, never one to miss a chance to embarrass himself, declared the chaos "perfect background noise" and called the protesters "ingrates" who "can't see law and order and common sense in front of them." He also insisted, with a straight face, that "there is nothing political about this exercise."
It’s a laughable thing to say at a ceremony in a park filled with cameras, and featuring the Secretary of Defense, the Acting Attorney General, and Stephen Miller.
Nah, nothing political.
The deployment itself tells the whole story. National Guardsmen have been stationed in Washington for months against the explicit wishes of District leaders and residents. And what have they been doing? Mostly wandering upscale neighborhoods like Georgetown and Cleveland Park — areas with the city's lowest crime rates — looking at their phones and vaping.
Meanwhile, the administration is now taking credit for the restoration of Malcolm X Park's iconic cascading fountain — a rehabilitation project that was planned and funded long before Trump ever showed up to claim it.
The residents of Washington DC didn't ask for this occupation. They didn't want these speeches. And on Wednesday, they made absolutely sure Hegseth, Miller, and Blanche knew it — in the loudest, most gloriously disruptive way possible.
The Trump administration came to Malcolm X Park to perform strength.
The people of DC performed something better: resistance.

Trump: I even had a conversation with Theodore Roosevelt. I said, what did you think about the Panama Canal? Do you consider that your greatest achievement?
