👀 🤨 Anyone who thought the Democratic Socialists of America were just pushing “fairness,” “equity,” or a slightly bigger welfare state have not been paying attention.

Democratic Socialists of America leader David Jenkins just said the quiet part out loud.

JENKINS: “I mean, our goal is liberation. Our goal is Communism.” 🤔

There it is.

Not “democratic reform.”

Not “help for working families.”

Not “standing up to billionaires.”

Communism.

For years, the Left has tried to soften the language. They call it Democratic Socialism. They call it economic justice. They call it liberation. They wrap it in slogans about compassion and fairness, then act offended when anyone points out where the ideology actually leads. 👈 💯

But now, one of their own top voices has made the destination clear.

The goal is not to improve America. The goal is to transform America into something completely different.

And history has already shown the American people what Communism produces.

It does not create freedom. It does not create prosperity. It does not lift people up. It concentrates power, punishes dissent, destroys incentive, and leaves ordinary people dependent on the political class that promised to save them. 👈

That is why this matters.

This is not just some fringe academic theory being kicked around in a college classroom.

The DSA is now a leading influence inside the Democrat Party.

Its candidates win elections. Its ideas shape policy debates. Its language gets repeated by activists, mainstream media figures, and politicians who pretend this is all harmless.

It is not harmless!

When someone tells you their goal is Communism, believe them! 👈

The American people need to pay attention before these ideas move from slogans to policy, from policy to power, and from power to control.

Because once a movement admits its goal is Communism, the question is no longer whether critics were exaggerating.

The question is why anyone would still pretend not to hear it. 🤔

When the British caught him in Canada and pulled him off the ship, orders came from London to put him right back on so the revolution could happen.

At the same time, while Germany was locked in total war with Britain, the Germans gave Lenin safe passage through their lines in a sealed train.

You had two mortal enemies on the battlefield secretly cooperating to install the Bolsheviks.

With only about 10,000 actual revolutionaries, they still needed Western money, passports, and protection to seize and hold power.

The “people’s revolution” was an elite project from day one.

History will show that so are today’s “elected” commies across America. You only need to follow the money.

According to the California Association of REALTORS®, this legislation could allow local transfer taxes/fees to climb dramatically — from the current general-law city cap of **0.11%** to as much as **1.5% to 3%** of a home’s sale price.

On a median-priced California home of roughly **$930,000**, that could mean going from about **$1,023** in transfer taxes/fees to nearly **$28,000**.

That is not a small adjustment. That is a major new cost added to the sale of a home — and in a state already struggling with housing affordability, we should be making it easier, not harder, for people to buy, sell, move, downsize, or enter the market.

Please contact your Assemblymember and State Senator and ask them to vote **NO** or abstain on AB 736.

The Supreme Court has some wonderfully quirky traditions.

From only drinking wine when it's raining to a basketball court on the top floor:

When the justices meet in conference to decide cases, it’s just the nine of them. No clerks. No staff. No recordings. If someone knocks on the door, the most junior justice has to get up and answer it. The newest member of the highest court in the land is literally the doorman.

That same junior justice also takes notes during conference and serves on the cafeteria committee.

Before every conference and every oral argument, each justice shakes hands with the other eight. Thirty-six handshakes. Chief Justice Melville Fuller started the custom in the late 1800s to remind them that disagreement is about principle, not the person.

Lawyers arguing before the Court are still given white goose quill pens at their tables, just like two centuries ago. Win or lose, they get to keep them.

Then there’s the John Marshall story. His Court only drank wine at dinner when it was raining. Marshall would have someone check the weather, and if it was clear outside, he’d declare that in their vast jurisdiction it had to be raining somewhere. They drank anyway.

Oh...and there’s a basketball court on the top floor of the building. They call it the highest court in the land.
