@PNBryant Someone volunteered to me today: I wish that instead of the Energy Price guarantee that gov is funding til April—that I could get support for capital investment in insulation and double glazing. Finding £100 per month for bills is possible, but I can’t fund £15k up front.

@stv_smth @ed_hawkins Does low pressure mean that the mass of the air column above a point of the surface is displaced (like a plug hole vortex seen from space)? Is it harder to ‘pile on more air from outside the upper atmosphere’ to create high pressure?

@EdwardALeigh I love these diagrams - I once made a very amateur animation of how the energy mix had changed by overlaying the diagrams from 2012 data to the current published year.
