CCRYN-CCMBIY at PGIMER Celebrated International day of Yoga yog sangam with more than 3000 Health care worker and their families at PGI sports complex on 21st june 2026 under global theme “Yoga for healthy ageing”.
The event highlighted how Yoga plays a vital role in promoting longevity, mobility, mental wellness, and overall quality of life across all age groups.
A total more than 3000 participants of faculty staff nurses paramedical of diverse age group and their family members performed Common Yoga protocol together. All participant were provided mats and t shirts supported by ministry of AYUSH.

Dr. Vivek lal, Director, PGIMER emphasized younger age people to carry forward the heritage of yoga further.
The Yoga Sangam at CCMBIY PGIMER was a grand success with participants embracing the theme Yoga for Healthy Ageing, the event showcased intergenerational unity and the timeless relevance of Yoga.

CCRYN along with PGIMER achieved a global milestone by mobilizing a large number of healthcare practitioners to participate in the execution of the Common Yoga Protocol, leading to its recognition in the Asia Book of World Records.
