If there was a Tudor timber frame dwelling next to the plot for the stone cottage would our forefathers have insisted the โnewโ building matched that one? In general I think new should be contemporary in style but with good design and materials of course.
@RupertPitt1@FTerryArchitect@createstreets I think British Design was doing ok in 1530, we were at the zenith of perpendicular gothic. Not everyoneโs cup of tea but pretty skilled none the less.
