@NovaWulfDigital @JasonNewNW Bull. Clawbacks is the dead of this industry. So please stop acting like you are not pro clawbacks you and your @CelsiusUcc friends.
Missed the $ARB airdrop?
People made $600-$50k+ today.
I've compiled a list of the best upcoming crypto airdrops that could be the next Arbitrum.
๐งต: Here are 10 airdrops that I'm looking forward to.๐
@WhiteCase White & case : the lawyers that are pushing to destroy thousands of innocent lives just to fill their already full pockets.
Disgusting and unethical lawyers.
Stop retail users clawbacks in Celsius bankruptcy.
@aryeh_newman @CelsiusUcc@Bitboy_Crypto I withdrew between around 500k and wasn't informed by an insider.
I was just doing what I do with any financial institution I deal with.
I will fight clawbacks. I'd rather spend millions fighting and comit suicide than giving them to @WhiteCase, @CelsiusUcc, @NovaWulfDigital
If a bank goes bust after you withdrew, you cannot be sued for your money back.
If a stock brokerage goes bust after you withdrew, you cannot be sued for your withdrawals back.
If a crypto exchange goes bust, they can sue you for EVERY dollar of value that you removed within 90 days.
And if you withdrew or deposited on multiple bankrupt crypto platforms, you can be made immediately insolvent many times over.
Why should the same rules that apply to banks, brokerages, and swaps dealers that protect the financial system from contagion not apply to crypto, when two of crypto's core value propositions are being unseizable and irreversible?
For the health and confidence in the entire crypto industry, a precedent MUST be set NOW (before these clawbacks begin) that all CeFi platforms will not sue their customers who withdrew in the event that the exchange/platform goes bankrupt. If the precedent is not set, major contagion risk will persist, and fewer people will be willing to participate in crypto.
Why are the founders & CEOs of crypto exchanges and CeFi platforms silent on this issue at such a pivotal moment where they can have a very positive impact on the industry, help out their future customers, and gain a tremendous amount of goodwill from victims in the process?

@tier10k People leaving crypto if retail clawbacks are now a thing.
Any centralised exchange who goes bankrupt can no mw clawback any withdrawal done 90 days prior to petition date.
The crypto community should fight this.
@EddieGold2u Poor Eddie, he was greedy, stayed on the platform and no is blaming others.
Man grow up and blame yourself for once. You sucked at investing and now want to go after innocent people who withdrew.
We won't give you a dollar. You will loose money. I will fight your greedy face.
Clawbacks by CeFi platforms, which are equivalent to suing retail investors for their own money back (aka theft), are at a CRITICAL point for the crypto industry right now. This issue could singlehandedly put crypto into an ice age by setting the stage for Voyager, FTX, BlockFi, Gemini, and Genesis who are all in similar situations to follow suit. It also opens up the possibility of serious contagion risk leading to cascading defaults/liquidations/bankruptcies and an absolute annihilation of retail and institutional investors' interest in crypto for years to come.
Many of the investors at risk have gotten caught in multiple crypto bankruptcies which leaves them exposed for more than their net worth, or they have lost the funds they're being sued for trading during the crash, or have otherwise spent the funds and are now considering personal bankruptcy or suicide as their only way out.
Voyager, whose lawyers previously declared clawbacks were worthless, have had a complete change of heart and decided to take a page out of Celsius's book and pursue clawbacks against their own customers. The other bankrupt or insolvent CeFi platforms (FTX, Blockfi, Genesis, Gemini) will likely be pressured by their "fiduciary" lawyers to follow suit the moment Celsius or Voyager brings in any money from clawbacks.
Even though the legal arguments for clawbacks are far from a slamdunk due to 2-3 available defenses, the lawyers suing retail are the most experienced, well-qualified, highest-paid bankruptcy lawyers in the world. All the lawyers need to do is send out intimidating demand letters, and many CeFi victims out of fear, or the desire to move on, or a lack of resources to mount a proper legal defense will just pay. The lawyers know this and are exploiting/bullying uninformed or vulnerable crypto investors who can't afford to fight back in court and lose legal expenses on top of their funds.
In just the Celsius case alone, the lawyers stand to potentially make $100-600 million in fees solely on clawbacks over the next several years depending on if they take the cases on a contingency or hourly basis, and how many years the cases last. You can bet your bottom dollar these self-interested lawyers will advocate for clawbacks that benefit themselves at the expense of crypto investors in order to profit from a $100-$600 million dollar windfall all under the guise of being "fiduciaries"
One of the core tenets and most appreciated attributes of crypto is its finality of transactions. Yet here we are with two of the biggest failed crypto platforms about to sue their own customers for cryptocurrency that is the property of the customer, and NOBODY is sounding the alarm bell! This is an extremely dangerous precedent to set as it will lead to a complete unwillingness to trust CeFi platforms for many investors. The erosion of one of crypto's most important qualities (finality of transactions) will also certainly send a chill to many holders making some question the value proposition of crypto itself.
All major crypto platforms that serve investors should consider aligning themselves in this fight to make sure a dangerous precedent that could set back the industry for years isn't allowed.

If you also believe that irreversibility of legitimate, legal transactions is fundamental to a successful crypto future, please help us raise awareness and join the Retail Clawback Protection Group below. The Celsius victims are joining forces with Voyager victims. United we are stronger.
