cés knows ball

just here to talk ball so my friends don’t have to see my annoying ass takes on their TL

[Molly Jong-Fast @MollyJongFast]

He’s a hero just for this

[Politics For You @PoliticoForYou]

🚨 Online traffic to the entire European far-right collapsing after a successful Ukrainian attack on a Russian data centre feels like quite a big story.

[Luiz Carlos Largo @LARGOESPN]

Gol absurdo no futebol feminino mexicano. Nunca tinha visto um gol assim.

[cés knows ball @CesBallTakes]

@TermineRadio Grown ass man still upset someone at his college didn’t like him. Sad.

[cés knows ball @CesBallTakes]

@corban8021 @GabeIkard Nowhere did Gabe say that was why he was dismissed. He even replied to you and said he thinks his failure to do nonnegotiables is why he was let go. Do you really think this program has never dealt with an entitled disrespectful teenager before? Even in Venables time.

[cés knows ball @CesBallTakes]

@corban8021 @GabeIkard You genuinely think that’s the only accountability? You genuinely think he was only dismissed for “being disrespectful”? Get real dude. You’re operating off of an assumption. Nothing has been reported why he was dismissed and it may never be, but I doubt it was just disrespect.

[cés knows ball @CesBallTakes]

@corban8021 @GabeIkard The dude wasn’t even on the official depth chart release at the start of the season. He was listed as 3rd string on Our Lads AFTER Trell’s injury. You’re a loser getting upset over a non factor player.

[cés knows ball @CesBallTakes]

@Kjones054 The dude wasn’t even on the official depth chart release at the start of the season. You’re a loser getting upset over a non factor player.

[Stavros Halkias @stavvybaby]

Finally: a balding guy in a tracksuit’s thoughts on transphobia

[Adam Kinzinger (Slava Ukraini) 🇺🇸🇺🇦 @AdamKinzinger]

This is not a joke.

The Russian biological war research should have us all concerned and stopping ALL flight from Russia, and all Russians from entry.

The longer this goes on the more countries we will have to stop flight from.

FYI: the Russians were working on a plague that is resistant to antibiotics

[cés knows ball @CesBallTakes]

@twesley06 @b_kamann @SheaSerrano Yeah and ICE used to not shoot Americans in broad daylight. Profiling Latinos used to get you badge removal, not a promotion. A lots changed in the last 2 years, dumbass.

[cés knows ball @CesBallTakes]

@_mind_your_biz @OFOEAC @CBPPortDirJFK Yams made it over the transatlantic slave trade and didn’t harm shit. Let this auntie keep her groceries.

[cés knows ball @CesBallTakes]

@_ImJustDamian @BurnerDial @TheREAL_MBrooks @problemsthots The reporter chuckled too. They were chuckling before Kelsey was even mentioned. Get your disingenuous ass outta here.

[cés knows ball @CesBallTakes]

@ChipQGTM More like a spectrum than cut & dry replications. Reggae en Español was mostly Jamaican dancehall musicians in Panama singing in Spanish. Dembow made its own Hip Hop songs but used Dancehall rhythms. Reggaeton blended Dancehall, Hip Hop, and Latin rhythms to make something unique

[cés knows ball @CesBallTakes]

@skinda767 I mentally typed Bob Marley but I guess the brain works faster than my fingers! Either way each Carribean nation is valid in their contributions. You don’t need to be acting like Cuba or PR is somehow astronomically better than Jamaica or Haiti.

[cés knows ball @CesBallTakes]

@skinda767 Haiti don’t speak English and Jamaicans are responsible for reggae and deeply inspired reggaeton in the 80’s and 90’s. Btw DJ Mustard, Uncle Luke, Patrick Ewing, Shaggy, Grace Jones, Usain Bolt, Harry Belafonte, Busta Rhymes, Al Rocker, and Aaliyah seems like a pretty good list.

[Melanie D'Arrigo @DarrigoMelanie]

Just another day living at the intersection of The Dumbest Times and The Darkest Times.

[Don Winslow @donwinslow]

This is so brutal, so cruel, so horrifically unfair.

There is nothing that shows the horror of the Trump administration in this country more than this.

@CharleFullerton @jalynno1 @johncanzanobft The student situation lead to him literally cancelling all of media availability for that week. Talk about a throwing a fit. Both decisions
received backlash, both were walked back by Riley. All the student did was report what he saw from our College of Journalism.

[cés knows ball @CesBallTakes]

@CharleFullerton @jalynno1 @johncanzanobft Fact: Oct. 2021 Riley canceled a student journalist’s media access bc he reported that Caleb Williams was taking 1st team reps. It was true.

Fact: Sep. 2023 he suspend OC Register reporter Luca Evans for reporting on a conversation he had with a player at a press conference.
