@FlomKatelyn@Ststansberry@Duncannedd YES! Fully agree with this and believe is the best thing technology has done (for education in class). The ability for parents and teachers to stay in constant communication is essential for a child's success.
@Rebekah_Barnes6 @Ststansberry@teachsci8 A: Also to add, I think it's a great way to reach parents. It allows parents and teachers to stay in constant communication. #csubedte4200
@Ststansberry R3: Well, it has made the ability for us to communicate with each other instantaneous. When it comes to education, I believe the best thing that has come out of it is the ability for parents and teachers to easily speak to each other. @teachsci8#csubedte4200#csubted
@lara4grave @teachsci8@Screencastify @Flipgrid I tried it, but didn't like it too much. However, I'm glad I'm getting to know so many sources. This way I can decide what I want and what I will not want to use in my class.
@HeatherRayhill@teachsci8@Screencastify @Flipgrid @Tech_Buddha The kids also have a good time creating their own custom images that are displayed before the video is displayed. Many of them add stickers and doodles to express themselves.
@teachsci8@Screencastify @Flipgrid A4: AGain, I have to go with FlipGrid. I think Flipgrid is an excellent source for kids to express themselves in class. Many of my 3rd graders at Freemont love to make videos on what they read. @teachsci8#csubedte4200#csubted
@tom_karnes A2: My favorite memory is sitting in Mr.Beemans U.S History class as I realized that, "yes, I really like history. I could be a history teacher! I have a passion for it!" Having that epiphany was awesome and I have been working towards my goal ever since. #csubted@teachsci8
@BolanosNancy@tom_karnes @JediTeacher08 That seems like a really fun thing to do. I wish one of my elementary teachers would have done that. It would have been a blast to have and keep.
@Rebekah_Barnes6 @tom_karnes@teachsci8 That's so cool. I never got to go to Camp Keep as a kid, but went twice as an adult (Chaperone). It definitely seemed like a fun experience.
@JennyA1227 @teachsci8 Hey, Jennifer. I had heard of Flipgrid before, but never actually used it. I thought it would be hard but turned out to be super easy. I also plan to use it in class from time to time to give students different ways to express themselves. #csubted
@MarroquinSusan@Tech_Buddha Cool. Another future high school teacher. Best of luck to you. I'm hoping to teach at East High or Stockdale, but I'll go wherever. Do you have a HS in mind where you would like to teach?
