🎙️Today, Prof. Cohen is participating in the following conference on climate governance and international law in Africa, hosted by the Académie africaine de la pratique du droit international.

💡Prof. Cohen will be discussing advisory proceedings before international courts.

🏆 The conference was a great success: around 50 people attended the conference in person at the Université de Montréal, with a further 100 participants joining in online.

📕 The proceedings of the event will be the subject of a collective publication in winter 2024.

🎙️On September 1st, Prof. Miriam Cohen, Prof. Stéphane Beaulac and Sarah-Michèle Vincent-Wright, scientific coordinator of the @ChaireJidf, welcomed experts from Brazil 🇧🇷, Italy 🇮🇹 and Canada 🇨🇦 for their conference on the role of international law in domestic law.

💡 The event brought together a range of experts offering informative reflections on a variety of areas, including human rights, health and intellectual property.

🏆 La conférence a connu un grand succès: environ 50 personnes se sont présentées à l'Université de Montréal pour y assister, et une centaine d'autres participants se sont joints en ligne.
