#WATCH | Patiala, Punjab: On stubble burning, Chairman, Punjab Pollution Control Board Dr Adarsh Pal Vig says "The total cases of stubble burning till 18th November has reached 9,655 which is very unfortunate. Yesterday, we received 1,251 cases of stubble burning in a single day, which is the highest since 15th September...We have seen variations in the number of cases. Last year, until this date there were 33,719 cases of stubble burning recorded. We can say that the case of stubble burning has reduced by around 75% in comparison to the previous year. In 2022, there were over 48,000 cases of stubble burning..."
