If the military is allowed to get away with 4 state executions, they will continue to execute other political prisoners on death row, who have been wrongfully accused and sentenced without a fair judicial process. Effective action would be more valuable than condolence statements
@RapporteurUn We don't even know what more to say or prove to the world that we are the victims, NOT the aggressors and that defensive fight by PDF is the only way to protect ourselves since no one has come to our rescue!

Yesterday I had an important discussion with Sweden FM @AnnLinde and briefed her the latest situation in #Myanmar. She highlighted #Sweden’s commitment to support the people of Myanmar for a return to democracy and civilian rule as well as to bring the perpetrators to justice.

Myanmar: Aung San Suu Kyi's trial👉politically motivated, another step to dismantle rule of law and setback for democracy in🇲🇲. EU calls for the release of all political prisoners and those arbitrarily detained since the coup https://t.co/hg71HT92vO
The sentencing of ASSK is as outrageous as the continued detention of over 13,000 political prisoners. The junta passes these "verdicts" in the theatre of the absurd it calls "courts" because it wants what brutality and weapons cannot deliver - legitimacy. https://t.co/5LasCaadzb
