Disrupting Vande Mataram during the Hon’ble President’s address is an outright disgrace to Parliament.
Worse, senior Congress leaders stood by and joined in instead of restoring order, showing contempt for parliamentary dignity and the nation’s highest constitutional office.
Today, as the President marked 150 years of Vande Mataram, recalling Bengal’s immortal contribution through Rishi Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, the Congress–INDI bloc including Trinamool MPs chose anarchy. In doing so, they insulted our national song and dishonoured a legacy that belongs to all Indians.
At the very least, Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi should have stopped their MPs. Instead they joined the uncouth ilk. And Mamata Banerjee must apologise to the whole of West Bengal on behalf of her party or stop shedding performative tears for Bengal’s icons. The nation saw this disgrace. It won’t forget.
@KapilSibal Bro, you have to win in politics first to win the hearts of people then rule the country...if you keep looting and doing nothing....you keep complaining sitting in the gallery!
This shows the growth of the grand old party in India..but somewhere in South... political (im) maturity is at high still!
Maturity awaited!
