We went to the greatest university, but on-campus "leaders" are ruining it.
It's not permanent, but it's time for common-sense Spartans to rise up.

Gretchen Whitmer had her chance.
The board referred Rema Vassar to her for removal in March 2024.
The investigation substantiated it. Donor flights, retaliation, the smear campaign against MSU leadership. The governor has constitutional power to remove trustees. Even she described the conduct as “shameful”.
14 months after the request was made, she rejected it. No real reason given. "Other considerations," per her letter.
Now that it's politically convenient, she's blaming the board for Guskiewicz leaving. Ironic, considering he was fleeing the very trustee she was solely responsible for keeping in power.
.@michiganstateu we love you, but it's time the good overtake the bad on campus. Enough is enough.
We will not move on from this until we see the changes necessary to get our university back to where it belongs.
We're 600,000 Strong, and we won't stand down until we see change.
The time is NOW for Change at MSU.
It's time to show we have #StrengthInNumbers.
The louder we are, the harder it is for bad actors to silence us.
Spartan Nation, make noise today and every day until we get the structural reforms we deserve.

@SpartyOn21 What is plausible is forcing this as an issue with statewide candidates this cycle. We can push Whitmer to act, but she's yesterday's news in 6 months.
We'll be posting more in the coming days/weeks with action items--but this is the most realistic way forward.

@SpartyOn21 Good question. We'll need 1/4 of the total vote of the last gubernatorial election. So actually about 275,000. Nonetheless, that is a steep number of signatures (most campaigns only need a fraction of that--and still struggle). So it's not plausible really.
@Kshook89@MSUUntrustees Fans, alums, current students, concerned Michiganders--everyone has an equal voice in this effort. We appreciate you in helping us to raise the volume on the bad actors who are gutting our university.

Students and alumni are echoing a similar sentiment: the MSU Board of Trustees is to blame for the loss of Kevin Guskiewicz and J Batt. https://t.co/kRt8L57ANH
@Sumseason Appreciate your voice on this topic. Better times are ahead. But unfortunately it's on us to make em better. It'll take Grit but nobody out-grits MSU Spartans.
