@KarlTurnerMP I’m so sorry to hear about your mam. I can’t begin to imagine how difficult this must be, especially after everything your family has already been through. My thoughts are with you and your family at such a sad time. Pat, will always hold a special place in my heart. X
@DianaJohnsonMP@MattHancock @EmmaHardyMP @KarlTurnerMP@Hullccnews@CEXHCC Totally agree that further support is necessary however Hull is now in a critical situation & therefore a FULL local lockdown is vital including closing schools & colleges
@OneAboutSue Home learning, Sue. Have a look at different organisations that offer remote learning. It is a huge trend now for obvious reasons but lots of families are opting for personal tutors
@MarkVipond@MattHancock The government did indeed turn things around slightly & were beginning to head in the right direction to help save peoples life’s. I am now however of the opinion that the gov are making decisions that haven’t been given much thought...The number of cases are still quite high!
Yesterday, across the UK, only 36 deaths were recorded with coronavirus - the lowest since 21 March.
We are winning the battle against this horrible disease
@MattHancock It is very positive & the numbers of death is declining but it is the weekend figures. I hope the number of cases doesn’t see an increase with the result of the recent protest across the country!
@Lord_Sugar@BorisJohnson The prime minister is out of his depth. He won’t make those sort of decisions in fear of losing credit with the public AKA ‘no back bone’. It is ridiculous what is happening in the protest...taking away the main message of the campaign.
We all want children back at school as soon as possible.
But the Government’s mismanagement on this issue puts the welfare and education of children at risk.
