Staff members from Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral & Research Hospital (KUTRRH) serving on the Clinical Research Support Committee (CRSC) and the Research Ethics Committee (REC) participated in an intensive training workshop facilitated by the Scientific and Ethics Review Unit (SERU) at KEMRI Headquarters, Nairobi from 11th to 13th June 2025.

The training aimed to enhance the capacity of committee members in the ethical and regulatory review of research, protocol monitoring, and facilitating high-quality clinical research within the institution.

We extend our sincere appreciation to KEMRI SERU for the expert facilitation and continued partnership in promoting ethical research practices.

This marks an essential step in strengthening KUTRRH’s commitment to research integrity, participant protection, and evidence-based health care.'
