@AllenFrancesMD 1. In Louisiana, after Gov Jindal wiped out long term inpatient psych infrastructure, social workers began sending client patients to nursing homes. Only jails and nursing homes (NH)s offer needed 24/7 secured care.

I just witnessed an armed car jacking of a 16 yo at a gas station in Metairie at 4:15 in the afternoon. I called 911, followed the car for a bit, and returned to the gas station to give my statement to JPSO. That is some bullshit. Stay aware and safe out there y’all.
