@MalcolmChishol1 Great the Post office workers and Infected blood victims are getting redress but what about the victims of Valproate, Mesh & Primados? #valproateScotland#redress
We're pleased the government has announced £11.8b for people harmed by the infected blood scandal & the Post Office scandal. But where's financial redress for women whose lives have been destroyed by mesh, Primodos & Sodium Valproate as outlined in the First Do No Harm report
@Emma4facs@Infactuk@JanetWilliams99 Emma, can you tell anyone asking about representation of Scottish families and victims of Valproate to contact Valproate Scotland who are and have been working with the Scottish Government and all the Scottish political groups since the Cumberlege report was published.
Patients harmed by pelvic mesh or an epilepsy drug should be given urgent financial support says @PSCommissioner.
A new report says it a "scandal that's bigger than Thalidomide" and failure to help victims would show "a callous disregard" for their pain.

It was so good to hear recommendations for redress for all victims of valproate @JanetWilliams99@Emma4facs The gov must act swiftly on @PSCommissioner report and must also include funding for research to stop the cycle of harm @epilepsysociety
Peter has been onto this since before my daughter was born. One of many dedicated academics and medics who went above and beyond, but like the rest of us, they just weren't listened to @PSCommissioner
Dr @rebbromley has studied anti-seizure medications in pregnancy for over 15 years. Here, Dr Bromley shares what today’s @PSCommissioner report means for people affected by epilepsy, and why more investment in research is still urgently needed. https://t.co/SUAU5q4zWF #valproate
Pleasure this morning to join @PSCommissioner Henrietta Hughes at the launch of her important report. @CommonsHealth will do our bit to push Ministers for a speedy response. I will be speaking shortly on @BBCSouthNews ‘South Today’. #redressnow
The Institute’s Reproduction and Hormones Theme Lead Dr @rebbromley reacts to the @PSCommissioner’s report into redress options for people harmed by #valproate. The report recognised the key role of the #EpilepsyResearchInstitute in calling for greater research investment.
I am calling for #redressnow at today's launch of my report on redress options for those harmed by pelvic mesh and valproate - read the report at https://t.co/o02LyUM9RM
Huge thank you to the Guardian for highlighting the betrayal of Primodos families. Please read how our disabled families have been abandoned by the Government AGAIN. It’s getting to be a very nasty habit @guardian
@ADigitalWitch@EpilepsyInst@Emma4facs Absolutely, this is a devastating and complex issue both ways. This particular research was focused on hearing from individual with fetal valproate spectrum disorder. More research is certainly needed to understand medication choice and where valproate cannot be avoided.
