Once upon a time, in the halcyon days of Chester County, the masses were beguiled by the novel roar of a man who wasn't cut from the usual political cloth. His raw, unpolished tirades against liberal protestors and his boisterous calls to "get 'em out of here" captivated an audience tired of the same old spin.

Fast forward eight years, and the scene has morphed into something quite extraordinary, almost Dickensian in its contrarian splendor. These rallies have become theatrical renditions of an Orwellian pantomime, where down is up, black is white, and the less reality adheres to their narrative, the more fervently they believe it. In this topsy-turvy extravaganza, an economy booming with the lowest unemployment rate in half a century is painted as the worst disaster since the Great Depression. Cities, enjoying a drop in crime, are depicted as dystopian war zones.

And the storming of the Capitol?
In this script, the real victim is Ashli Babbitt, her narrative overshadowed by the controversial identity of the officer involved, rather than the broader tragedy of the day.

It's a narrative twist that would make even George Orwell pause and mutter, "Well, I didn't mean it quite so literally." Here, the truth isn't just inconvenient—it's irrelevant.

It’s a study in how charisma, repeated often enough and loudly enough, can turn fiction into a fanatically defended fortress, impervious to the sieges of reason and reality.

Truly, if there ever was a testament to the power of storytelling—no matter how fantastical—it is the modern-day Trump rally, a place where the script is king and the facts are merely peasants, unworthy of the crown of attention.

Every once in a while, we need to pump the brakes on the insanity of these news cycles, which move from outrage to outrage without giving us a chance to absorb how truly fucked up these things are.

It's completely insane that trump is the GOP frontrunner for President.

It's completely insane that someone lacking impulse control is being considered to be in charge of nukes.

It's completely insane that he's not in jail already.

Let's defeat that degenerate jackass so the DOJ can put him away for the rest of his miserable life.
