Last night, Donald Trump, our pathological liar-in-chief, said:

“Every single promise I made to you as a candidate, I’ve delivered on. I’ve delivered on everything.”

Really?

Well, let’s go down the list.

Since becoming president again, Trump promised:

✅ $5,000 DOGE dividend checks. A lie.
✅ $2,000 tariff dividend checks. A lie.
✅ $1,000+ checks by repealing ACA subsidies. A lie.
✅ A 10% cap on credit card interest rates. A lie.
✅ “The lowest drug prices in the world.” A lie.
✅ $2 a gallon gas. A lie.
✅ An end to inflation “starting on Day One.” A lie.
✅ An end to “endless wars.” A lie.

And now, after all of those lies, Trump wants you to believe that he will give every American adult a $5,000 check - but only if the Republicans win the midterms.

No. I don’t think so. The Trump Administration is not about helping working families. It’s about giving a trillion dollars in tax breaks to the 1% and throwing 15 million Americans off the health care they have.

You have to understand what is happening here:

1) Iran had said that if Israel goes into Ali al-Taher ridge they will respond.

2) Netanyahu is now trying to humiliate them with this post saying the IDF destroyed "the biggest Iranian post outside Iran." Defense minister Katz said that if Iran attacks it will loosen all restraints.

3) What Israel is trying to do is get Iran to strike them so they can restart bombing of Iran in order to distract from the latest revelations about October 7 and change the narrative for the elections.

4) Israel cannot initiate because Trump and Rubio have been very clear about wanting stability before the mid-terms.

Israel is once again trying to bring about destructive escalation in Iran for political purposes.

BREAKING: Fox News host makes JD Vance SQUIRM by confronting him over Trump's insane attempt at "bribing voters" with a fake promise of $5,000 if MAGA wins the midterms.

"So, Mr. Vice President, the Trump dividend raised some eyebrows. $5,000 for every adult citizen if the House wins," Fox's Bret Baier said, sitting across from Vance after Trump's speech at the Republican convention.

"It raised my eyebrows and both hands went up at the same time," chimed in Sean Hannity, a man who reliably rushes to support all of Trump's bad ideas.

"You guys don't need it. This is for the American middle class," said Vance, plastering an awkward, fake smile on his face.

"But if the Republicans win the House, $5,000 for every adult citizen. So you do the quick math, that's about $1.3 trillion," said Baier. "I can hear the critics' heads exploding. They're saying out loud, I guarantee you, 'the President is bribing voters to vote for Republicans to take over the House.'"

Yes Bret, that IS what critics are saying because that's exactly what Trump is doing. He knows that his party is heading into a devastating wipeout in the upcoming elections thanks to his failed Iran War, worsening affordability crisis, and ongoing Epstein coverup. Since he's too incompetent or lazy to actually fix the problems that he's created, he's now resorted to direct, blunt bribery.

Unfortunately for Trump, he doesn't have the power to distribute $1.3 trillion to voters without Congressional approval.

A community note on X has already appeared on a clip of the Baier interview and it reads: "Annual tariff revenue (under $300B) cannot fund a $1.3T payout, and distributing funds requires congressional approval. Previous cash dividend promises were also never delivered, including the 2025 DOGE dividend and proposed $2,000 tariff rebates."

More important is that latter point, because most Americans realize that Trump has no intention of following through on the promise. If Republicans were to win, the $5,000 checks would become just another broken promise.

"And then he's bankrupting the country because the deficit and debt is huge. And inflation would come back if this comes into play," added Baier. "So how do you answer those criticisms?"

Reader, would it surprise you to learn that JD Vance, the most spineless, obsequious man to ever hold the vice presidency, had no real answer?

Instead, he did what he always does and spun up a deeply dishonest defense of Trump's rantings, desperately stretching to give them a sane veneer.

"Well, I'd say first of all, what the President is talking about is fundamentally a dividend for American workers," said Vance. "We're taking in an extraordinary amount of revenue because the President of the United States is actually standing up to both foreign companies, but also foreign countries who've been taking advantage of America's workers for pretty much my entire life."

The truth, of course, is that those tariffs are being paid by American workers. Tariffs are a tax on consumption. The American people do deserve a refund, but Trump can't and won't deliver it. If he really wanted to address the financial strain he's placed on working class people, he'd cut those $5,000 checks personally and use all of the money that he's raked in illegally as President.

"All of these tariffs, what is a tariff, Bret?" said Vance. "A tariff is when the President of the United States says, if you want to undercut the wages of American workers, if you want to ship American jobs overseas, you're going to pay a big fat penalty when you try to bring that stuff back into the United States of America."

"Those penalties have generated a lot of revenues. They've helped us pay down debt," lied Vance. "What the President is just saying is if you keep it going to the American people, if you keep us in power and allow us to continue to do these things, then you're going to share in some of the benefit of this incredible wealth that we're creating in the United States of America."

The "if" there reveals the crux of this idea. If Trump wants to send $5,000 to each American adult, why does he need to wait until after the midterm elections to do so? He's conditioning this offer to buy votes. It's that simple.

"I don't think it's a controversial idea. It's actually the President of the United States saying we're all working together, we're all on the same team, and if we continue to create wealth, that wealth is going to go back to the American people," added Vance. "I think it comes down to, and maybe to expand that discussion."

But the simple reality is that we are not "all on the same team." Trump and Vance are on the side of the billionaire and corporations which is why, despite claiming to support the working class, every single one of their policies is designed to siphon even more wealth to the oligarchs.

The $5,000 checks are a lie and a distraction. Focus on the real issues and vote blue!
