Physical violence or threats of violence
Coercive behavior can have serious consequences for the person experiencing it, including anxiety, depression, and trauma. It is important to recognize the signs of coercive behavior;seek help if you or someone you know is experiencing it.
Coercive behavior refers to a pattern of controlling and manipulative behaviors that one person uses to maintain power and control over another person. It can occur in a variety of relationships, including intimate partner relationships, familial relationships, and friendships.
Some examples of coercive behavior may include:
Intimidation or threats
Isolation from friends and family
Emotional manipulation, such as guilt-tripping or gaslighting
Controlling finances or resources
Monitoring or restricting access to communication, such as phone or internet
Tomorrow's Chatty Chatty pop up tea party in the Kings Road 1.30-2.30 will include extra tables and crafts for kids (plus, squash, biscuits). All free. Pop by and say hi!
Again coercive control is being described incorrectly as emotional abuse 🙁
Coercive control is in fact everything that a perpetrator might be doing to gain control and keep it: economic abuse, sexual coercion, stalking, Gaslighting, (maybe) violence.

Whilst it is great news that we are busy. We do often pause to think about the reason that we are so busy is because so many people are victims of domestic abuse. It seems to be endless. Schools need to educate against this level of abuse. We are all equal. Stop abusing people.
We have been in #kingsheath for less than a year (#Wolverhampton a little longer) and we are incredibly proud to announce that we have been shortlisted for the Law Firm of the Year (< 5 partners) by @BhamLawSociety - such an amazing honour for our firm. Thanks for the support
