At 10 AM, US Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld held a press conference and announced that the Pentagon has “lost track of” $2.3 trillion, which is “unaccounted for.”
He goes on to highlight a number of other glaring inefficiencies in the Department of Defense.

HHS is asking for YOUR input.
HHS has opened a public comment period on federal vaccine recommendations including informed consent, parental rights, religious freedom, and more.
If you believe parents should have the final say over what is injected into their children…
If you believe informed consent must actually mean INFORMED consent…
If you believe religious and medical exemptions must be protected…
If you want stronger evidence and greater transparency behind vaccine recommendations…
MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD.
The deadline is September 20.
Submit your public comment to HHS today and then share this with everyone you know. The more Americans who speak up, the harder we are to ignore.
@unusual_whales We’ve gotten so lazy about checking sourcing. He did say this, but it wasn’t today, nor on any Labor Day. It was from 6/19/25. Seems to be in direct reference to Juneteenth.
JOE ROGAN: “The guy who wrote the study that’s often quoted about vaccines not causing autism just got arrested for fraud.”
“People around Fauci… that don’t have a pardon from Biden are getting arrested now.”
Rogan is talking about Poul Thorsen, the Danish epidemiologist behind Madsen et al., published in NEJM on November 7, 2002. It covered 537,303 children and claimed “strong evidence against the hypothesis that MMR vaccination causes autism.”
Thorsen just pleaded guilty to wire fraud for stealing more than $1,000,000 in CDC grant money.
In contradiction to Thorsen’s autism claim, Dr. Peter McCullough’s team at the McCullough Foundation reviewed 136 vaccine studies for Determinants of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Twenty-nine came back neutral, and 107 inferred a possible link.
The study’s conclusion: “Combination and early-timed routine childhood vaccination constitutes the most significant modifiable risk factor for ASD…”
"Silicon Valley tech executives are reportedly raising their own children with far less technology, limiting screen time to as little as 90 minutes a week and delaying smartphones until their teenage years," per NYT
@KamiLuxLLC@Cernovich I assumed he meant he gambled so much the room was comped. A common practice in Vegas casinos when you spend a lot of money with them.
@OgAn0n661@AmyJSchlosser1 I second sandcloud. They are awesome. I bought them for the beach b/c they don’t hold sand & was so impressed with the drying ability, it’s all i use now. They aren’t fluffy tho but can order big sizes. Organic Turkish towels are the same, if you don’t like the price of sandcloud
I’ve realized that what I’m experiencing right now is quite rare among my generation of women and for the generation before me.
Most mothers don’t get to see their kids at this toddler stage every day. They miss out on seeing the jokes, the pranks, the mischief, and the personalities that come bursting to the fore between the age of 1-4.
As challenging as babies are, and as vigilant as one has to be, I can confidently say the last few years of my life have also been filled with so much laughter over the silliest things my kids do. And also so much awe and reverence at how cute, pure and innocent they are at this stage.
Every day when my husband finishes work I tell him about all the things they did and I genuinely feel bad that he had to miss out.
But most women in my generation choose to go back to work when their child is at most 1 years old. That’s it. Daycare and then school. Their babies become people they see briefly in the morning and then at dinner time. I humbly insist, that is not enough time!
They never really know their children at this stage of life. My own mother started working when I was only 4 months old and my grandmother looked after me. I’m getting to see a part of motherhood that most women in my generation miss completely!
A lot of people in my personal life think I’m a bit insane for not going to work, and for doing my silly little substack essays and drawings on the side instead. But I am glad that I can be present with my kids during the early years and really know them.
I am not writing this to offend anyone who has chosen or needs to go back to work after maternity leave. But I just want to tell you that there IS SOMETHING PRECIOUS you will miss out on. Something you can never ever experience again if you miss it. Toddler love. I hope you consider this factor with seriousness.
Ok, I'm going to explain this simply.
Tylenol reduces glutathione. Glutathione is an antioxidant that highly mitigates inflammatory damage. If a mother has an illness during pregnancy, something called maternal immune activation (MIA) can occur in response. This is known to cause deleterious effects to fetal development. This is all well documented and not controversial.
If she takes Tylenol during this inflammation to reduce symptoms, it can also cause a reduction in the ability to mitigate the inflammation, which can exacerbate any potential fetal damage. There is a risk to benefit ratio in every medication. In this instance, the risk is fetal damage, and the benefit is reduction in symptoms. The risk outweighs the benefit.
Vaccines cause inflammation. That is, in fact, the goal. Create inflammation to generate an immune response. So pregnant women are given vaccines, which causes inflammation, and cause MIA, which potentially harms fetal development, and then are given Tylenol, which simply exacerbates the situation.
I really wish people would just look at these things from an empirical perspective and stop politicizing everything.
Feel free to look up anything I just said. It's all textbook medical knowledge.
For decades, doctors implored pregnant women to take extra care of themselves, avoid all drugs, toxic foods, get adequate rest, reduce workload, etc, because a developing fetal is exceptionally vulnerable.
