@sheilagregoire We were taught to dress modestly. To wear clothing that covered our body so that we don’t become a stumbling block for men. We had to be our brothers keepers and protect his eyes. Girls are taught this from a very young age.I am also a victim of clergy SA.

At 38, my pastor told me he found my modesty most attractive because it created mystery. Then he SA’d me.

Stop telling our girls how to dress when the entire problem is powerful, perverted men.

I found our that the pastor who abused me and others has started another fellowship in yet another state. When abusive pastors aren’t held accountable, they continue doing it.

I am very disappointed and disheartened by the news of Johnny Hunt’s decision to resume ministry. I am for repentance & restoration, but I am not for returning a man back to the position he used to violate & abuse someone.

@bozlawpa It’s very lonely on holidays. As a survivor I have all of the memories of holidays with my church community, and those who I loved. I lost community when I spoke out and spoke truth. Today it’s lonely.

@MisconductAbuse I was just sitting here thinking about that. My church was my community, and who I had thanksgiving with. Today is difficult because there is no one to celebrate it with. It’s a lonely day.
