Day anniversary #4. Oh what’s in store for me?! Been a rougher week than I would’ve imagined. It’s still lurking in my mind regardless of progress and year of hard illnesses. Oh well. Seatbelt on. Here I go

@lifebycourage Just went thru same last week (no vow renewal tho). Seat belt on and take your cues from him. Remind him in the card that what you are feeling to set stage for you. . My H made dinner and down played it. Covid helped so we just stay home and do more of the same. ❤️

25 yr anniversary tomorrow. Meh. Not upset but Not excited or pleased. He ruined any marriage milestones. What am I really celebrating? Lived a shallow marriage for 17 yrs, a lie for 5 and recovery for 3. Oh boy.

@Strong2Forgive Yup I can relate to this. Hindsight. Still no excuse for not stepping up to communicate about it before doing something so destructive and stupid. My UH let his A go on for 5 years. The impetus to communicate w me decreased every day.

H started cancer treatment post surgery. Don’t know what’s going on but I’ve had nightmares about H and the whore almost nightly. Very unsettling. Hard to be supportive spouse yet I Feel that I shouldn’t tell him about this now. 🤔 knowing me I probably will anyways. 🤷🏻‍♀️

@johningsucks @HealingHusband Our therapist validated those feelings for me. Said something like you’ll never totally trust him again and that’s okay, If you can be In the mid-high 90% that’s great. It happened. It was real. Your feelings are real. Then try to move on. He’s done the work. He’s here w you.
