In the early morning of May 5, we received a mortality signal from a GPS-collar on a deer we had collared a few months earlier. We reached the deer carcass by 6 a.m., and immediately knew it had been killed by a cougar because the carcass had been dragged 117 meters and then buried under debris (i.e., cached).

We set up cameras on the carcass, knowing the cougar would likely be back soon. Later that day, we captured hours of footage of this male cougar feeding on his kill. Capturing such footage (along with the female and kittens) in northern Minnesota has been surreal for us. And we cannot help but wonder could this be the beginning of a self-sustaining cougar population in the state?

We don’t know but we want to find out by studying and documenting the cougars that appear to have recently settled (or been born!) in our area, including this male—but we need help. We literally have no budget to study cougars…frankly, we didn’t even expect this to be a possibility a year ago.

BUT, it is too interesting and unique to not pursue but we need donations (link below!) to support this research. We want to purchase another 40-50 cameras to deploy in areas where we know cougars are (a camera set-up is ~$200).

For perspective: the footage of this cougar was only possible because of the >10,600 donors who have supported our project and enabled us to purchase trail cameras supplies (cameras, SD cards, mounts, batteries)—HUGE thanks to everyone who has donated!

We want to get more footage of this male, the female and her kittens, and of any other cougars out there. And we want funds to collect and analyze any genetic samples we encounter (scats, hair, etc.).

We will use a portion of the donations made at the link below to do just that. Plus, all the cameras simultaneously help us study wolves of the area more intensively at the same time.

🚨Spencer Pratt was WINNING... then he wasn't.

On election night Pratt held a nearly 40,000 vote lead over Nithya Raman. Then came the late ballots. Then came the federal investigation. Then came the 43,000 question...

As of the latest count with 83% of ballots in, Raman now leads 27.1% to 26.7% which is a swing of over 43,000 votes in five days.

Federal election fraud investigations are now underway in California, announced by First Assistant US Attorney Bill Essayli in coordination with the FBI.

Pratt posted this on X: "A net swing of more than 43,000 votes since Tuesday... 43,000, huh? Where have I seen that number before... Probably nothing."

For context, there are approximately 43,000 homeless people living in the City of Los Angeles on any given night according to public reports.

Pratt's campaign is expected to demand a recount.

The majority of people are not even aware that the Earth's magnetic field is weakening, and that everything started around 1850, coinciding with changes connected to the magnetic pole shift.

They say the noise is unbearable due to the 10 turbines used for power

The Stargate data center is planning on installing another 41 additional turbines which will greatly add to the noise

The homeowners feel trapped and are brought to tears. This woman and her husband are veterans

The site will 51 gas turbines plus dozens of diesel generators for backup

I looked it up and found the amount of noise this would produce once done is equivalent to a food processor at all times blasting into people’s homes

Heavenly Father,

I come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, humbled by Your mercy and grateful for Your grace. Lord, You know the wounds I carry. You know the words that were spoken, the betrayals that cut deeply, the disappointments that linger, and the hurts that seem difficult to release.

Yet Your Word commands me to forgive, just as You have forgiven me in Christ (Ephesians 4:32). Father, I confess that forgiveness does not come naturally. My flesh wants justice, vindication, and repayment. But Your Spirit calls me to surrender these burdens into Your hands.

Today, I choose to forgive those who have hurt me. I release them from my judgment and entrust them to Yours. I pray that You would bless them, lead them to repentance where needed, and draw them close to Yourself. Remove every root of bitterness, resentment, anger, and unforgiveness from my heart. Do not allow the wounds of yesterday to poison the joy You have for me today.

Lord Jesus, when You hung upon the cross, You prayed, "Father, forgive them" (Luke 23:34). Give me that same heart. Help me to love my enemies, pray for those who mistreat me, and overcome evil with good (Matthew 5:44; Romans 12:21).

Heal the places in my soul that still ache. Restore what has been broken. Replace bitterness with peace, anger with compassion, and sorrow with hope. Teach me to remember that You are the righteous Judge and that vengeance belongs to You alone (Romans 12:19).

Thank You for forgiving my countless sins through the blood of Christ. As I have received mercy, help me extend mercy. As I have been forgiven, help me forgive.

I release these hurts into Your hands and choose to walk forward in freedom, trusting that You are working all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
