Georgia has long been a leader in public safety and now has the opportunity to serve as a national model for success.
My latest for @RightOnCrime explores how we can strengthen justice even further across the Peach State: https://t.co/mOPrU2xQtt
Today the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals — respected, experienced and conservative Judges — rightfully stayed the execution of Robert Roberson, remanding his case back to the trial court for further consideration. While the system has failed Robert and Nikki at every turn, today — with this action by the Court — truth and justice finally win the day. Going forward, we are hopeful and expectant that Robert’s story, and the truth about what happened to Nikki, will fully and finally see the light of day in the trial court, which is what we’ve been asking for and working for all along.

Wow. If true, two things must happen:
1) Robert Roberson must get a new trial;
and
2) The Judge must be referred to the Judicial Conduct Commission for investigation, removed from office and disbarred.
Neighborhood safety should be a normal reality for every American.

Blessed to receive a pardon from @realDonaldTrump on Dec. 23rd, 2020 & witnessed my fiancé walk out of FCI Coleman after 13 years on May 28th, 2025.
From freeing @AliceMarieFree to appointing her as Pardon Czar, @POTUS shows true commitment to redemption & second chances.
For those in the advocacy space, this should be a must read, regardless of the subject of the legislation. It reflects what my colleagues at @UnifyUSOfficial have always done. Develop trust and mutual respect. Build bridges. Establish durable coations.
@pamelakarnbach Discussing the felony theft threshold. Not misdemeanor. Think the bots are confused.
Not discussing whether theft is right or wrong.
I’m not a judge or a jury.
🚨LOOK! In 2019, then State Rep Byron Donalds sponsored a bill to raise the threshold for Felony Theft to $1000.
The same policy wreaking havoc in California. Stores must lock up their merchandise or close.
This guy wants to be governor of the Law and Order State of Florida?
