IDM a great opportunity to reflect on my career! 10 years in and I still love my role, a day spent supporting a woman, and teaching a first year student - enjoyed every minute!
@BBCNews The teachers have been doing a fantastic job of keeping the morale up! They can’t enjoy their holiday easily because they are aware that their return journey could be just as difficult! @SuellaBraverman this needs to be sorted!
@BBCNews The coach I was tracking took 25 hours! From arriving at Dover 1730 1/4 till getting on the1835 ferry on 2/4! The kids have lost a full day of skiing, many hadn’t eaten much during that time because there wasn’t anywhere to get food once in the passport queues…
@BBCNews the knock on effect has been huge! They’ve had to take alternative routes once in Europe because they missed their Swiss motorway pass! They haven’t been able to stop at service stations because they don’t have any food for the two coaches!
@DFDSUKUpdates They have just made it on to a ferry 24hrs after arriving #SuellaBraverman this is appalling and the government need to make plans as to how this can be managed for their homebound journey next weekend, they’ve already lost a day of skiing. Work with the French boarder officers!
@DFDSUKUpdates This isn’t acceptable there are children and teachers there who have been waiting since 1730 yesterday - prioritise the children on these coaches and hold some of the cars back
