@b_pofahl I vaguely remember SMART boards. Funny that you mention how quickly technology improves and moves on. It reminds me of people buying phones. Once you buy the latest and greatest, they are already working on something bigger and badder!

@GoehringCrista It scares me for the future how some people say there won't be a use for teachers anymore with all of this new educational technology, BUT, kids still need face to face time and hands on learning with their peers!

@mrsj_bramhall You brought up a good point with our current COVID-19 situation. We were all forced into educational technology with our eyes closed and hands behind our backs.

Wrap Up
I LOVE educational technology. It truly opens up new worlds and possibilities for all types of learners. Ed. tech. gives us access to more things than we could ever possibly imagine.

My favorite ed. tech. tool is Google Suite. Ever since our district switched, it is AWESOME! Collaboration, feedback, organization. You name it, Google Suite can make it happen. Best part....IT'S FREE!

@Ms_Swift_BHS I like your 4th comment about distracting from the learning because a lot of the time, collaboration can turn into chatting about random things and not focusing.

@MsBahle19 I love the Adobe Suite as well!! It is super simple for kids to use on any device and the end results are always stunning and look professional!

@miller_in_3rd Go Noodle is perfect for indoor recess!!! I also use a YouTube channel called "Cosmic Kids". She does storytime yoga and the kids follow along!

@MrsSchroll I Kahoot with my kids for review games. The only thing that I have to do is turn off the timing piece so they don't get so focused on answering the fastest but answering correctly.

@MsBieber_BHS Not cheating at all! I love Google Suite and Google Classroom and my kids know how to use it because this is what we used during e-learning!

@SGarrisonNassi Sidney, I like how you mentioned providing feedback because that was one thing I have been working to improve in my classroom the past year or so!
