I am a 5th year teacher from Nebraska!!! I teacher underprivileged high schoolers! Thank you for thinking about teachers!!! #JohnClearMyList
Final Thoughts: Educational Technology is something that I plan to use more often in the classroom now that my students will be 1:1. I also think it is important because if a pandemic happens again my students will already be prepared for working from home #tldeuno2020
@JulieBakerUNO Julie I love how you incorporated the gradual release of responsibility! As a high school teacher, I feel like I need to do that more because they will be graduating soon and going out into the real world! #tldeuno2020
1st consideration: Is your app approved by your district?
2nd: Will this help my students learn?
3rd: What is the purpose of this tool and how can I use it in the classroom?
4th: Will it distract the learning environment?

@ChelsiJanicek@miller_in_3rd I did Go Noodle with my high schoolers and they looked at me like I was crazy! Then we started playing the video and they started dancing along! So it is great for brain breaks in high school :D #tldeuno2020
@MrGengler Brent I said the same thing! I also included Quizizz on there too! I love how on Quizizz I can make it untimed and the students love that aspect. It allows for some of their anxiety to go away! #tldeuno2020
My favorite ed tech tool to use, especially as an informal formative assessment, is Kahoot! or Quizizz. These two can be used as a competitive game where students answer multiple choice questions. The faster you answer the question the more points you receive. #tldeuno2020
@B_Stuedemann Becky I love how you defined Ed Tech! Especially the ending. I never thought about how we are truly preparing students to live and work in a digital world! #tldeuno2020
Educational technology means that it is technology that you use in the classroom to enhance your teaching, but it also helps your students learn or dive in deeper into a concept. #tldeuno2020

4. I would say that I am experienced in the technology that I use now, but for new technology I would need to mess with it before I use it in the classroom. #tldeuno2020
