@GoehringCrista @eduardoaw10 @ChelsiJanicek I agree Crista. It's been rough not being around people. I think students and teachers both crave face to face interaction! #tldeuno2020
I’m excited to learn about all the tech tools that can be used with students. It will continue to grow to be a huge part of student learning, especially with distance learning, but also to prepare students for careers in high demand tech areas. #tldeuno2020
@TimCawthorn I agree. You don't want to spend so much time troubleshooting tech that you don't have time for the actual teaching & learning to take place. #tldeuno2020
A3: I’m also taking Digital Citizenship, so for sure the child safety laws (CIPPA, COPPA, etc) and checking that it's district approved would be the fist step. Also is the tech tool really enhancing student learning and engagement or is it just tech for tech’s sake. #tldeuno2020
@TimCawthorn @HThernka My daughter's kindergarten class used seesaw this spring too, and it made at home learning go so much more smoothly! #tldeuno2020
@maestra_mayra @Flipgrid Oh good to know it's great even with the littles! Some tech tools are so complicated with logins, etc. It's good to have something easy for them so they can get in on the fun! #tldeuno2020
A2: I’ve been exploring Flipgrid. For those who haven’t used it, teachers can post a question, video, link, etc. and students respond w/ short video clips, and respond to each other’s videos. It looks like a fun way to get students engaged in learning & collaborating #tldeuno2020
@miller_in_3rd@b_pofahl I've been wanting to try coding too, it looks like so much fun! I always see tech teachers and media specialist on social media doing awesome things with coding and robots. #tldeuno2020
A1: Ed Tech is pretty broad, but to me it means using technology as a way to expand on learning in meaningful ways. And teaching curriculum in innovative and engaging ways with the use of technology. It is preparing students to live and work in a digital world. #tldeuno2020
Hey everyone! I’m Becky, I’m a former kindergarten teacher, current SAHM. I am a bit experienced w/ integrating tech, although pretty surface level since we mainly focused on hands-on activities in K, not as much emphasis on technology. And this was also 5 years ago! #tldeuno2020
Did you know that you can export @Screencastify recordings as mp3 audio files? Check it out in the #EduGIF below.
🤔 This made me think...with audio becoming more popular, how can we use it in the classroom?
