@maestra_mayra How to unplug devices, plug them in, carry them, how to care for them. A teacher at my school building had her students created a how to and how not to video!
@ms_swoboda19 Being flexible was one of my daily mottos with my students! You never know what life can throw at your especially when you are using technology! #tldeuno2020
I could not agree with this more! Even though technology enhance what we do in our classroom, it will never replace the connections that a human being can bring to the classroom! #tldeuno2020
@b_pofahl Technology has always been a part of classroom even in the smallest way and it is just continuing to grow and enhance classrooms in so many ways today! #tldeuno2020
@maestra_mayra I agree that it is so important that we don't shy away from using technology in our classroom. We need to embrace what the world is today and how important technology is in our every day lives! #tldeuno2020
@lmermaid33 YES! I touched on this same idea. Future employers are looking for individuals to have so many of the 21st century skills that are fine tuned when utilizing technology! #tldeuno2020
@miller_in_3rd I agree. There are always new tools and ideas that we are bringing into our classrooms to enhance our lessons, activities, and student learning! #tldeuno2020
Wrap up: Ed Tech will continue to increase in importance to have in the classroom because of future employers who are looking for individuals who have technology skills. Students are gaining these skills when given the chance to use technology in the classroom. #tldeuno2020
@MsBahle19 I agree Kayla. Often when devices are shared throughout a school building, it can be difficult to ensure that all students will have access or that there will be enough time! #tldeuno2020
@maestra_mayra I agree Mayra. Students with different needs might need different accommodations and if these things aren't available then the tech tool might not be a good fit! #tldeuno2020
@mrsj_bramhall Mariah, I agree. A teacher must think of their students first when consider technology. If it is not suitable for the students then it won't be beneficial! #tldeuno2020
A3. When implementing Ed Tech into the classroom, teachers should consider: the needs of their students, the objective or goal of the lesson or activity, access to technology and ensuring that it is meaningful and purposeful. #tldeuno2020
@TimCawthorn I love using Seesaw and I know that a lot of classroom teachers add the specialist teachers at their school building to their classroom so they can share items too! #tldeuno2020
A2. My favorite Ed Tech tool would be Seesaw. I love how versatile it is. It allows families to be more involved in viewing what is happening in the classroom on a daily basis. It is also a great platform for students to engage in digital learning activities! #tldeuno2020
@lmermaid33@betterlearn2 Melanie I also love using Seesaw! It is always an easy way to connect this school and home lives of students. It's like a window into the classroom during the day for families! #tldeuno2020
@MrGengler I love utilizing Kahoot! in the classroom. It really engages students and gets them excited to participate especially for those students who are more competitive! #tldeuno2020
@MsBahle19 Kayla, I also love Adobe Spark! There are so many things that you can do with it and it allows students to be creative with projects! #tldeuno2020
@MsBieber_BHS My district is currently transitioning to the Google Platform and I cannot wait to find new ways to utilizing all the apps in the Google Suite! #tldeuno2020
