Not sure why they would deprecate Paint 3D but still suggest Paint as an alternative. Paint 3D was much newer and a bit easier to use.

This is interesting. I would like to see what kinds of bad security practices are discussed in the final version. Public comments might lead to a "boy, you will never believe the configuration I saw this one time..." session.

@gabsmashh It will be interesting to see how the roll out goes. Extending the time may help with drawing out and lessening the backlog of assessments at the beginning of this process, I hope.
