@LocalLegendCoop Also consider where the organization was when he took over and there's still only a few other coaches that would likely be better. It's a risky proposition to move on. He deserves to stay, and unless mcvay is privately chatting up up with Clark hunt is likely out best option.
@LocalLegendCoop It's possible. But he's still been to 3 out of the last 4 super bowls and won 2. Drafting at the back of the first year for a decade will make it difficult maintain a deep roster. The path to the super bowl is much thinner when you have to use players that every other team passed
@ceroto60 This means nothing. Wait til the rest of the dominoes fall.
Yes the story could be bullshit. He could also come back with a different or reduced role.
@bturner23 Big red has the keys to the kingdom as far as I'm concerned. The last 9 years surpassed anything I couldve hoped for as a sports fan.
Its all house money now. And he's built a big enough stack to play with that as long as he wants.
@Rock_Chalker15 With you. My fear is Andy's too loyal. It's a strange sequence of events though. Curious the role EB has going forward and how the staff is rounded out.
@BigSchmeic59@ChiefsInsider@BKSportsTalk@RealRonTheShow Yep. I agree w that. Could be why the delay between the "meeting" and resigning... To discuss if they wanted to make it work.
Pat still sensitive to the rest of the locker room. I do think some if not a lot of players like eb
@BigSchmeic59@ChiefsInsider@BKSportsTalk@RealRonTheShow You know how hard it is to fire someone as a 26 year old? Fire a grown ass man and ruin his future?
Its very possible that there is a gray area where they won't regularly work together.
Also if 25 wasn't high on veachs list they wouldn't have drafted him.
@nickboltonszn @ShawnV1972 The headset transcript didn't add up to me. But I could be convinced.
Letting Kafka leave could be because nagy is lined up to come back.
@Zfrede @KC_Tigerfan13 @KCSportsReport Well this is simply not true. Chiefs have not been bottom 5 in points or yards since grandpa Romeo was in kc. In fact, they've been in the top half of the league in scoring every year since reid came to kc.
