Our new @zeiss_micro Axio Zoom v.16 with Apotome captures confocal-like images of macroscopic objects. Paper fibers stained with safranin and imaged at 260x total magnification with standard widefield and then with Apotome + deconvolution. 40 x 1 um Z-stacks.
