In this country everyone has the right to a fair trial. Everyone. Me, you, this guy, that guy over there. Serial killers, pedophiles, people who steal diapers. Everyone. It’s what makes America stand apart.

Everyone has the presumption of innocence until proven guilty.

If people don’t like that, perhaps it’s they who should be “deported” to a country where vigilante justice is acceptable. I prefer to live in a civilized society where a person has a right to present their defense.
