I don’t think enough people recognize the fact that the Bears don’t care how long this takes.
everything I say from here on out is purely speculation, but I feel supremely confident in presenting the following. —
🧵⬇️
@RiotIksar same idea as resting starters in games you may not need to win, by the end of the season.
a calculated gamble that if that player is at least available at the end of the game, you are willing to pull them out with foul trouble, while the score stays close.
@Bears_Hype_Man the cap is going to shoot WAY up in 2030, when the league opts out of all broadcast deals & resells them.
it’s why every big contract the Eagles have given out over the past few years all have void years that align with that.
it’s why AJ Brown couldn’t be traded ‘til June 1st.
@schwagerTV Texas needs to stop their puritanical practices, & benefit from legal gambling, & weed.
it shuts off a decent sized aspect of the border war, & would provide revenue to a State that won’t mismanage the surplus.
build the new stadium district with a casino for the Stars & Mavs.
if I provided any valuable insight to you, I’d really appreciate a request to get me some followers from your large base, Big Dawg.
I’ve got tons of content planned on the horizon for the upcoming season, & it’d mean a ton to me if you could direct some followers my way.

@Bears_Hype_Man every new Collective Bargaining Agreement will demand a certain percentage of league revenue, so there will never be a number that caps that potential.
as the league continues to make more money, the NFLPA will continually demand the same percentage, which = more, or higher %.
@Bears_Hype_Man “just take away the inside,” as if every team in the league can just find a guy like Emmanwori.
you either have to commit a corner who is big enough to cover the slot, or it’s mismatches all day on Colston.
@JamieDyckes the implementation of a Salary Cap would likely bring the installation of a Salary Floor.
most owners would welcome that, as many owners simply sit back and let the revenue sharing fill their pockets, while fans suffer.
it’s bad for the league, as a whole.
@TalkinJake the Yankees —
the scrappy little $10b organization, able to find production all over their $325m payroll, even from former MVPs.
love an underdog story.
@OnyxMcGrady losing to Wemby & his uber talented + well-coached teammates would simply be a bump in the road.
no stain on anyone’s legacy; simply another feather in the cap for Wemby’s young career.
@DylanJo2007 OG is absolutely better than both those guys, currently.
Castle has 3x the potential of prime OG, but isn’t there, yet.
Fox has proven himself more than anybody, but is irrelevant to this conversation, simply due to his age.
OG would put the clamps on Fox, if that was his job.
