@FrCescoofmcap Rest in peace Fr. Though I never met you in person I heard of your exploits as a young Charismatic Renewal member. God bless your soul. Amen.
#NEPAL: This is incredible. 1,643 children survived because one headmaster acted fast when disaster was already on the way.
He received a warning that a village upstream had been swept away by the river. He immediately rang the school bell and moved the children and teachers to higher ground.
School buses were on the way to school, He called the bus drivers and told them: "Don't come here. Go back."
One school bus was already on its way. The headmaster saw it approaching the bridge and told the driver to turn back. The bus reached safety just before the bridge collapsed.
Then the flood hit the school. The entire three-storey school was washed away. It completely vanished. Not even a trace was left behind.
But all 1,643 children survived.

WE ARE REPORTING: 267 Days in Captivity – A Priest Still Waiting to Come Home.
We are reporting today on a story that must never become old.
We are reporting that Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Ezema, a Catholic priest from the Diocese of Zaria, Nigeria, has been in captivity for 267 days since his abduction on December 2, 2025.
We are reporting that his name must not be forgotten, and we call for continued prayer, remembrance, and action.
We are praying for his protection, strength, and release, as well as for his family, parish, diocese, and all Nigerians affected by insecurity.
We are urging authorities to act urgently. We are reporting that we will not stop hoping, praying, or remembering until we can announce: "Fr. Emmanuel is coming home."
As a matter of conscience l won’t be a part of the #IUCN Academy of Environmental Law holding in Cape Town, South Africa. Later this year.
The ongoing xenophobic discrimination targeting fellow Africans in South Africa negates everything academic pursuits should be about.
The sacrifice of a mother! She worked as a maid in Lebanon for several years so her son could become a pilot.
Her son is the one taking her home 🎊🎊
Life is hard! May God bless parents who give their all to better the life of the next generation❤️🙏
Nations enshrine mediocrity as their modus operandi, and create the fertile ground for the rise of tyrants and other base elements of the society, by silently assenting to the dismantling of systems of excellence because they do not immediately benefit one specific ethnic, racial, political, or special-interest group. That, in my humble opinion, is precisely where Nigeria finds itself today!

In honor of Keanu Reeves' birthday today:
This is Matrix movie star Keanu Reeves. He was abandoned by his father at the age of 3 and grew up with 3 different stepfathers. He is dyslexic. His dream of becoming a hockey player was shattered by a serious accident. His daughter passed away at birth. His wife passed away in a car accident. His best friend, River Phoenix, passed away of an overdose. His sister battled leukemia.
No bodyguards, no luxury houses. Keanu lives in an ordinary apartment and likes wandering around town and is often seen riding a subway in NYC.
When he was filming the movie "The Lake House," he overheard the conversation of two costume assistants, one crying as he would lose his house if he did not pay $20,000 - On the same day, Keanu deposited the necessary amount in his bank account.
In his career, he has donated large sums to hospitals, including $75 million of his earnings from “The Matrix” to charities.
In 2010, on his birthday, Sept 2nd, Keanu walked into a bakery & bought a brioche with a single candle, ate it in front of the bakery, and offered coffee to people who stopped to talk to him.
In 1997, some paparazzi found him walking one morning in the company of a homeless man in Los Angeles, listening to him and sharing his life for a few hours.
In life, sometimes the ones most broken from inside are the ones most willing to help others.
This man could buy everything, and instead, every day he gets up and chooses one thing that can not be bought:
To be a caring person.
Simple Acts of Kindness
Share this — who knows, maybe Keanu will see it for his birthday!
