"I advocate for our profession daily. Don't just listen to rumors; learn about law enforcement through reliable sources. It's the most honorable profession I know."

"Chicago last 24 hours - a mass shooting that injured seven and killed two, along with a double stabbing and sexual assault in the Loop (same incident). Offenders act with impunity, knowing they won't be held accountable." @CWBChicago@Awake_IL@AVPMikeFerguson@amyjacobson
Weitzel, “Downtown Chicago (Loop), Friday, daylight, double stabbing, sexual assault—all the same incident—and you want to go to Chicago's premier entertainment and shopping district? NO.” @cwbchicago@Awake_IL@foxnews@producerjerome@morninganswer https://t.co/g2vNy5F29i
My Roll Call column for @MySuburbanLife discusses First Amendment auditors who target police & seek clicks rather than accountability. Most of the time, they create conflict, & that's what they want—don't give it to them. @CWBChicago@Awake_IL@ChicagoContrar1@CitizensBTB@ILGOP
Chicago mass shooting—7 shot, 2 killed-
Weitzel, “@ChicagosMayor, your trip to the Vatican helped no one from Wood Street. Chicagoans, how long will you tolerate this?” @CWBChicago

Weitzel, “The courts have never treated DUI as a serious crime, never. 8th DUI and still driving tells you all you need to know.” https://t.co/bktYhrx1Qp

Weitzel, “Judge Lyke, it's too late; Officer Bartholomew is dead, and his partner remains hospitalized. Did revoking his release this time make you feel better? It didn't for me.” @CWBChicago@Awake_IL@foxnews https://t.co/iXAfD4aJRx
Two-tier policing in the UK is not a conspiracy it's official policy. Last year the UK's National Police Chiefs’ Council set out so-called “anti-racism commitments,” saying it wanted its policing to be less racist.
It argued it wanted equal outcomes which it said requires different approaches based on people’s race or gender rather than treating everyone the same.
Meanwhile, protests in the UK turn violent after a vigil for murdered student Henry Nowak, where the deadly results of two-tier treatment are driving anger. I speak with retired police chief @ChiefWeitzel about the case.
Weitzel, "Judge (Juvenile Court) removed ankle monitor 2 weeks before teen shot and killed - It makes no difference in Cook County, adult court judge, juvenile court judge, the court system kills, plain and simple." @CWBChicago@Awake_IL@AVPMikeFerguson

Weitzel, "He receives 40 years for two murders and an additional 3 years for a separate federal drug case. The Cook County judicial system is the worst in the nation! @CWBChicago@Awake_IL https://t.co/Kw2Km1MQmk
"This isn’t an enforcement problem — it’s a repeat‑offender problem. CTA crime is being driven by the same people who are being released again & again until someone gets killed. The cycle ends only when chronic offenders are kept in custody." @CWBChicago@AVPMikeFerguson@Giersh
Weitzel, "Per the @GLFOP, as of May 31, there have been 132 officers shot in the line of duty in 2026. Of those officers shot, 15 were killed. Congress, when do you think we will get some help? Pass the “Protect and Serve Act”. @CWBChicago@Awake_IL
